The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EDON Nigeria Limited, a conglomerate of EDON group of Companies, Architect Edward Nkwegu has congratulated Ebonyi people on this year's easter celebrations.
He made the commendation in a statement in Abakaliki.
Architect Nkwegu who opined that this year's easter celebration calls for sober reflection in order to get over the challenges of time, called on christians to uphold God in prayer for solution to their predicaments.
He appealed to residents of the State who are enmeshed in wars with their neighbours to sheath their sword and give peace a chance.
He prayed God to grant rest to the souls of those who lost their lives in the recent spate of hostilities in parts of the State including the recent slaughter of innocent natives of Egedegede in Ishielu Local Government Area by herders.
Architect Nkwegu who commended Governor David Nweze Umahi for his efforts at restoring peace in all parts of the State, advised Ebonyians to support the Governor to completely turn around the fortunes of the State.
