Don't relent to work towards repositioning PDP, Saraki tells Arapaja

 



The immediate past Senate President, Bukola Saraki has urged the new South-West Zonal Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, not relent working towards the reformation and repositioning of the party in the country.

Senator Saraki stated this, Tuesday on his confirmed social media handle.

He felictated with Arapaja for having emerged victoriously yesterday as the South-West's National Vice Chairman in PDP congresss of the zone.

NATIONAL PANEL reports Arapaja emerged winner of the election by defeating Eddy Olafeso with a total of 343 votes against his opponent’s 330 votes.

Meanwhile, Saraki has wished the best to Arapaja, the PDP, and all the new zonal executives and urged them to be committed for the success of the party.

“I congratulate the leaders and stakeholders of our great party for the successful conclusion of the PDP South-West Zonal Congresses yesterday.

“I also congratulate Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, who was returned as the South-West Zonal Chairman of the @OfficialPDPNig, and all the new zonal executives of our party in the region.

“As you all prepare to embark on your respective assignments in the zonal EXCO, I wish you all the best. It is my hope that you will all continue to work towards the ongoing reformation and repositioning of our great party," Saraki twitted.
