Nwite, other stakeholders visit Ebonyi Royal Father, throw weight around Umahi

Member Federal Board of Directors/Chairman Board Establishment, Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority, SRRBDA, Hon. James Nwogha Nwite, JP,  and other stakeholders from Ndiegu Ishieke Autonomous Community in Ebonyi LGA of Ebonyi State on Tuesday paid a new year homage to their traditional  ruler, HRH Eze Nwefia Ochiaka ( Ochioha 1 of Ndiegu Ishieke Autonomous Community).


Speaking, Hon. Nwite commended the traditional ruler for his friendliness with people to build peaceful atmosphere in every village within Ndiegu Ishieke Autonomous Community and neighabourhoods.

He lauded the magnanimous achievements of the Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi, whom he described as a pragmatic leader in the country and prayed for his emergence as the Nigeria President come 2023 to continue to bring succour to humanity

He maintained that the developmental feats of Governor Umahi in the state are second to none in comparing to his colleagues since assumed office in 2015 till date.

The SRRBDA Chairman Board Establishment therefore, urged the traditional ruler and his subjects to always give him support to achieve his progressive mandate against 2023.


On his part, a Principal Engineer Defense Industry Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna State, Engr. Simon Egede expressed joy to the traditional ruler for giving them a warmly reception and however, pledged to empower youths of the area by assisting them to get jobs.

He asked the traditional ruler to begin compilation of Engineering graduates for employment opportunity in his office at Kaduna State.

Egede said his decision to empower youths from Ebonyi State through his office, was due to a factory currently under construction, where Nigerians especially graduates of Engineering have added advantage for the opportunity and assured of utilizing the opportunity to assist Ebonyi people to get employment in the industry.


He called for the urgent compilation of graduates of Engineering from the community and other parts of Ebonyi, saying that the state's quota will not be underplayed, to reduce unemployment and social vices.


The traditional ruler also expressed happiness for the solidarity given to him during the festivity by the respected stakeholders and reaffirmed the community support for Governor Umahi's move to APC especially to actualize Igbo Presidency come 2023.


Meanwhile, the Coordinator of Mbeke Development Centre, Mr. Michael Njoku, the Chairman National Association of Nigerian Traditional Medicine Practitioners, NANTMP, Ebonyi LGA, Dr. Aloysius Omerefi, among others appreciated the traditional ruler for his warmed reception, and pledged a continuous support to Governor David Umahi's led administration while on the progressive movement towards 2023 general elections.
