At least, 22 indigent students have got awards of scholarship from the Catholic Priest of Abakaliki Diocese, Rev. Benjamin Chukwuma Agbo to study and secure degree certificates in the universities of their choice in Nigeria.

Agbo said his award to the indigent students to study in the universities is a part of his prayer and vision to lift the less privileged from the bondage of ignorance and academic backwardness.

Fr. Agbo is the Founder of Holy Spirit in Action Ministry Abakaliki (HAMA), where  avalanche of our sources have applauded his benevolence towards people especially the less privileged.

It was gathered that the award is not the first time he gave academic scholarship to people, as many students testified that they are currently studying in the secondary schools and in the tertiary institutions under the Catholic Priest's scholarship scheme.
