The State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has promised to given office to the Forum of Ebony Federal Board/ Commission members at a strategic place in the state.
He made the pledge when the Forum paid him a familiarisation visit in his office, Old Government House Abakaliki.
He said the Forum deserves an office in their home state at the Akanu Ibiam International Conference Centre, Abakaliki for easy accessibility in the state when the need arises
He urged the the members of the Forum to continue to work with Governor Umahi's government as being togetherness with the governor in his administration can spur him to do more.
Also speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Forum, Barr. Enyi C Enyi (aka Igbudu) told the Ebonyi APC boss that their mission was to have an introductory and familiarisation meeting with him.
On behalf of the forum, Hon Enyi congratulated Chief Emegha as the Ebonyi State Caretaker Chairman of their party, APC.
He said the Forum came to identify their loyalty and support with the pragmatic governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi whom he described as the most performing governor in Nigeria.
He pledged to continue to work with Umahi's led government.
The Chairman of the forum also described Umahi as a good man whom his good track records have proved that with him, Ebonyi APC will never remain the same but out to achieve a greater progress.
Lending his voice, the Secretary of the Forum, Hon James Nwite, thanked the state APC Chairman for granting them audience.
Nwite said the Forum has been existing before Governor Umahi decamped to APC, stressing that, the Forum deemed it necessary to identify with Emegha as their new Caretaker Chairman of APC in Ebony state, assuring a total support to Umahi's led administration.
Nwite who is the member Board of Directors/Chairman Board Establishment, Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority, also said the decision of Governor Umahi to join the APC is not for his personal interest but for the well-being of Ebonyi State and South East in general.
He equally thanked the state APC Boss for promising to give them an office at Akanu Ibiam International Conference Centre and prayed that God will continue to uplift him to greater heights to serve humanity.
Giving a vote of thanks, the Forum's Publicity Secretary, Hon Alloy Nwibo thanked the State APC Chairman for for his wonderful pledge to give them office.
He said Emegha's emergence as the Chairman of Ebonyi APC has eradicated factions of the party in state, which started since 2013, it came on board in Nigeria.
He thus, thanked Governor Umahi, saying that his defection into APC has enthroned spirit of peace and unity among the party faithfuls, attracting numerous Ebonyians to become their supporters and members, and wished him a greater position at Abuja come 2023.
