Rep-member calls IGP to investigate killing of two Ebonyi citizens in Anambra

The member representing Ezza-South/ Ikwo Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State, Comrade Chinedu Ogah has called on the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu Adamu to order for the immidiate investigation of the murder of two of his constituents by some trigger-happy policemen in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambara State.

Mr Ebere Nwogba from Noyo Alike Ikwo and Mr Alika Izuchukwu Israel from Ndufu Echara, all in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State were murdered respectively by some policemen while vending for their daily bread in Anambra State.

Hon. Ogah who was furious over the sad incident, called on the Inspector General of Police, IGP Adamu Adamu to urgently wade into the matter to bring the perpetrators to book.

He expressed shock over the incident occuring at a time the country is struggling to recover from the harsh effects of COVID-19 Pandemic aftermath of ENDSARS and other dangerous activities that confronted the collective wellbeing of Nigerians, adding that Nigerian Police Force has outgrown such babaric and shameful act.

He however, called on the immediate investigation into the matter as to accord justice and legal action into the action of the careless police officers.
