Governor David Umahi has approved the dissolution of the Ebonyi State University Governing Council.
He also dissolved the Ebonyi State College of Education Board.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala made the disclosure on Monday.
The dissolutions according to him was to enthrone efficiency in service delivery in the instructions with immediate effect.
Consequently, all the Chairmen and members of the affected council and board were directed to hand over all government property in their possession to the Vice-Chancellor and the Provost of the instructions respectively before the close of work on Tuesday, 24th November, 2020.
Copies of the handover notes were said to be submitted to the Secretary to the State Government/Coordinating Commissioner, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, without delay.
