As individuals and groups especially those holding political posts move from one political party to another, a member representing Afikpo South East Constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr. Chidi Ejem, said nothing would make him to leave Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ejem went to his social media page, today to restate his stand in the Peoples Democractic Party, PDP.

He maintained that he is comfortable with his party, PDP, the platform through which he was elected into his current position.

The chat read: "I, RT.HON.. (ENGR) CHIDI E. EJEM Restate that I stand in PDP come rain comes sun. Ebonyi is a PDP state. With PDP THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH AND VICTORY IS SURE."

The Afikpo South East legislator shared different caps decorated with his names, pictures, inscriptions and PDP symbols on social media projecting his political platform.

It was gathered that Ejem was one of the six lawnmakers in Ebonyi Assembly who refused to defect to APC with Governor David Umahi.

NATIONAL PANEL is yet to know the decision concluded by the other lawmakers from the House and some political actors in the state as the defection saga tenses up and takes greater space in media.
