Umahi's Aide, others bag Rotary International Award

Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital was filled with blissful atmosphere as the Rotary Club of Nigeria, Abakaliki South honors the Special Assistant to the Governor on Vocational Education, Princess Adaeze Nwaji with Vocational Service Award in recognition of her outstanding performance in the area of Vocational Education and Human Empowerment through skills and  Entrepreneurship especially in Ebonyi State Vocational College.




The occasion which took place at Salt Lake Hotel, Abakaliki, also witnessed the installation of the 18th President of the Rotary Club of Nigeria, Abakaliki South 2020-2021, Rtn. OBIORA Emeka Ikedilo.

 Other personalities who were awarded during the event included Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, the former Minister of Health in Nigeria, Dr. Ezeorah Chris Achi -Permanent Secretary,Ebonyi State Ministry of Health, Mr. Uche Umezulorah- the CEO BLITZ Place Even and Lounge.




Also awarded were Hon. Engr. Felix Odimegwu - the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State on Board of Internal Revenue, and Chief Joseph Nonso Enekwachi - the CEO/MD Vobiscum Oil and Gas LTD.

The event was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life.

It is worthy to note that Rotary International is an international service organization focusing on how to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services and to advance goodwills and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all.
