Kaduna South attacks: AMP intervenes, distributes palliatives to victims





Kaduna based Non-Governmental Organizations under aegis of Articulate People's Movement(AMP) has donated relief materials to displaced victims of recent Southern Kaduna attacks.

Two hundred and eighteen adults and fifty children at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp at Gonin-Gora ,Chikun local government area of Kaduna State benefitted from food items, clothes and nose masks donated by the NGO.




Speaking during official presentation of relief materials to the beneficiaries, leader of the group ,Mrs Bola Fabiyi said, the decision to embark on the gesture was to help provide succour to affected and displaced victims of the unfortunate attacks .

According to her , it is important to identify with these innocent citizens affected by the frequent attacks, especially at a distressed period such as this 

" They are human beings like us ,who for no reason have been displaced by the attacks . We decided to raise funds within the 25-member team of the Articulated People's Movement and people within the society to assist them.

Items donated are 160 clothes for men,350 clothes for women , 400 clothes for children, 5 dozen socks and pants for children as well as  200 nose masks.




The elated  beneficiaries thanked the NGO and urged them to remain resolute in the mission to empower the less privileged  and distressed members of the society .
