 GOODWILL MESSAGE

On behalf of my family and the entire PDP family in Ebonyi State, I wish to felicitate with the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellecy, Engr. Dr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE FNATE and his amiable wife and mother to the motherless, Chief Mrs. Rachael Ogonna Umahi, Ogoo Nwanyi, the Deputy Governor, His Excellecy, Dr. Eric Kelechi Igwe and wife, the National Vice Chairman, Southeast Zone of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Deacon Austin Umahi and wife, the speaker, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru and other members of the house, the chief judge of Ebonyi State, Justice Anselm Nwigwe and his brother judges, members of Ebonyi State Executive Council, and indeed all elected and appointed political office holders as well as all well-meaning Ebonyians on this year's Independence Day celebration and the 24th Anniversary of the creation of Ebonyi State.

This year's celebration is not about pomp and pageantry in Ebonyi State. It is about true reflection on how far we have gone as a people, it's about what have we achieved that calls for celebration. Indeed we have a reason to celebrate, and more to celebrate is the very man that changed the story of Ebonyi State from scorn to admiration, Engr. Dr. David Nweze Umahi. His infrastructural drive and policy initiatives have made Ebonyi State a destination for tourists and investors. Ingenuity and passion for governance are factors that made him achieve all the feats that presently define Ebonyi State. He has put in place security apparatus that is second to none. In terms of human empowerment, he has the highest number of empowered people in the whole country. Indeed he is an epitome of governance.

All my prayer for Engr. Dr. David Umahi is godspeed to achieve all he desires.

Long live Nigeria!

Long live Ebonyi State!!

Long live David Nweze Umahi, king David of our time!!!

Barr. Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Chairman, PDP, Ebonyi State.
