Ebonyi Female Journalist Distributes Rice, Other Items, Disburses Cash To Church Members

An Ebonyi State journalist, Princess Okoro Chinelo has distributed over 500 bags of rice, body cream and cash sums of money to church members in Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi state and friends within the capital city as part of Christmas package to support the state government’s People's charter of needs mantra.

Princess Chinelo Okoro, a PhD holder in mass communication and a staff of Radio Nigeria Unity FM Abakaliki who gave the Christmas package to members  of Methodist church Nigeria Agba, Circuit in  Ishielu Diocese,  Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi State, as well as her friends and well wishers noted it as a demonstration of the love of Jesus.

Okoro, who disbursed the Christmass gift items to the church members after receiving an award of the Iconic Philanthropic Voice of the cross, as a result of her previous kind gestures to the church and the members gave appreciations.
Speaking to newsmen, she explained that the Christmas package was her little way of stepping down the good gesture of Ebonyi state governor, Chief Francis Nwifuru and wife, Mary  Madeline in providing rice for some members of the state, especially  at the grassroot. 
Dr. Chinelo Okoro appreciated the church for recognising her little contributions in the church, which attracted the previous recognition of Iconic Daughter of Encouragement, awarded her by St. Peter Methodist Church Agba Circuit in the then Diocese of  Abakaliki.  

The veteran journalist encouraged people not to always be at the recieving end, but lean to give out to others, no matter how little.
