Commissioner Distributes Educational Materials To Over 1000 Students In Ezza South

The Commissioner for Grants and Donor Agencies, Chief Solomon Azi has distributed educational materials worth millions of naira to over one thousand  students from Okoffia in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.

The event which held at Community Primary School Okoffia attracted education Stakeholders, the catholic community, and over one thousand students of Okoffia extraction, Youths and women.
The benefactor, Chief Solomon Azi who thanked Governor Nwifuru for giving him the enabling environment to keep touching people's lives insisting that he has given helping hands to the children to ensure there is a better tomorrow.

He called for love among the people of Okoffia for a progressive Okoffia and called on the beneficiaries to be ready to replicate the same gesture when they eventually got to the top of life.

The Chairman of the occasion and the Secretary of UBEB,Dr. Livinus Ezeuwa who appreciated Chief Solomon Azi for continually thinking for and supporting the future of Okoffia Oworike saying that he has been doing that for his people but this year's is bigger maintenaining that it is a replication of Governor Francis Nwifuru's strides in the education sectors.

In their goodwill messages, the Secretary local government education authority, Mr. Daniel Onyeze, Town Union Prisedent of Okoffia, Chief Ifeanyi Opoke,  the APC  Chairman Amudo/Okoffia Ward, Mr. Martin Nweke, the mother of the day , Mrs. Eucharia Igwe and the Council of Amudo/Okoffia Ward all poured encomia on Chief Solomon Azi for always putting smiles on the faces of the children of Okoffia 

The Parish Priest of St Ralphel, Okoffia, Rev. Father Marcell Ezenwa who had earlier opened the gathering with prayers thanked Chief Solomon Azi for remembering the people but regretted that there is a fall in education and warned the students against laxity and encouraged them to give to themselves target and make good use of the opportunity given by Chief Azi and called on authorities to take care of teachers

Edege Ekka, Ezza North and Ayita Ndeguazu Okoffia added colour to the event as over one thousand students went home with note books and pen.
