The Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of St Paul's Parish, Onuebonyi, during their 2025 August Convention/3rd Award Ceremony, honoured the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi, Hon Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha with an award of excellence and conferred on him the title, "Ezinwanne Di Na Mba".

Presenting the award, the parish priest of the church, Rev Fr Dr Abraham Nwali said the church decided to honour Chief Emegha because of his enormous contributions to the growth and development of the church and society at large, urging him to keep the candle burning.
Fr Nwali however, recalled how he met the church without structure but cleared bushes and raised beffiting place of worship, appreciating God for achieving such within the shortest period of time as the parish priest.

Speaking, the APC boss, Chief Emegha thanked God Almighty and the church for finding him worthy to be honoured, saying he would continue doing the good which attracted the recognition. He said the government of Ebonyi State under Governor Nwifuru Ogbonna Nwifuru would continue to work in synergy with the church to instill morals and societal values in the people, appealing to the church to continue praying for the governor.

"I thank God for a day like this. I thank the church and the CWO in particular for finding me worthy to be honored.
"Ebonyi state government steered by a God fearing governor, Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru shall continue to work in synergy with the church to inculcate in the people morals and societal values. Yes, moral upbringing matters a lot in the society.

"I urge the church, especially the women to continue praying for Governor Nwifuru to succeed in governance and give the best to the state. Bible recorded much about women and God listens to their prayers.
"I am happy I know our daddy in the Lord, Rev Fr Nwali because he is a great teacher and counselor. His teachings motivate us a lot and that's why wherever he's posted to, we continue to visit and identify with him", he stated.

Chief Emegha made a cash donation of one million naira to the church and promised to always come around and support whenever he's called upon.
