Appointment Review Committee Commences Tour Of LGAs

The appointment review committee set up by the chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in the state, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha under the directives of the state Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru,  this Wednesday, began the tour of Local Government areas of the state, with a visit to Ivo, Ohaozara and Onicha Local Government Areas. This is in its bid to get first hand information on the spread of appointment and other elective positions across all the electoral wards in the state.
Addressing the stakeholders at council headquarters of the visited local Government, Chairman of the appointment review committe, Hon. Peter Ndubuisi said, the essence of the visit was to recieve memos and inputs from stakeholders regarding the spread of appointment made so far by this current administration in various local Government with the view of striking balance and ensuring that those who worked for the party are adequately accommodated in the administration of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

Nworie, who is the APC zonal chairman, Ebonyi central  maintained that aside memos from the wards and local Government individuals are also requested to tender their inputs in writing to committee as such will help them in comparing notes and...
He emphasized that appointment into various positions is strictly for the those who worked for the party during the last election as nobody will be allowed to reap where he did not sow. 
Hon. Peter Nworie noted that the results of each polling units and Ward is also to be tendered before the committee as such will guide them in making recommendation to the leader of the party in the state, His Excellency Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
In their separate speechs, the Executive Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Ajah, his Ohaozara and Onicha counterparts, Hon. Ajah Chinonso Consider and Hon. Chidiebere Agwu Commended the spirit of inclusiveness the governor is bringing to his administration, stressing that it will encourage had work and discipline and give sense of belonging to the people.
The exercise was successful in the three local Government Areas of Ivo, Ohaozara and Onicha visited, as leaders and stakeholders came in numbers for the exercise and made valid contributions before the committee.
Members of the committee in attendance include the Chairman, Hon. Peter Nworie, secretary Barr. L.I. Ukeni and Mrs Queendaline Nwigwe . Others were  Hon. John Nwankata, Hon. Sunday Oñuzu and Hon. Okeye Odilichukwu.
