The pledge was made yesterday after the commissioning of the NADDC Automotive Training Centre on Ogoja Road, Abakaliki.
Speaking under the leadership of their President, Hon. Mrs. Patience Nwali and the Chairman Lot 2 International Market, the market women said Governor Nwifuru has shown true leadership in piloting the affairs of the state. They commended him for the massive road infrastructure across the state and for carrying the market women along in his administration.
According to Mrs. Patience Nwali,
President Ebonyi Market Women Association and Chairman Lot 2 International Market Abakaliki Ebonyi State, the Governor has also empowered their sons, daughters and women through various appointments, which has brought development closer to the grassroots.
The stakeholders of the market women association, speaking with one voice, said they are fully behind Governor Nwifuru and the APC-led administration. They described his achievements as visible and impactful in the market sector.
They also passed a vote of confidence on their President, Hon. Mrs. Patience Nwali, describing her as a dedicated leader who has touched the lives of women, youths and the less privileged in the markets.
The elders of the association assured the Governor of their continued support and declared him as their sole candidate for the 2027 governorship election in Ebonyi State, just as they did during the Local Government elections.
They congratulated the beneficiaries of the new NADDC Automotive Training Centre and thanked Governor Nwifuru, whom they described as the father of Ebonyi market women, for bringing another federal project to the state.
