Ogah said the Nwifuru administration had recorded significant achievements in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, security and human capital development, arguing that the governor's projects were visible across the state.
He cited the ongoing development of the ICT University, Oferekpe, and the University of Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering (UAAE), Ezza, in the Onueke axis of Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, as well as investments in educational infrastructure and scholarship programmes, as evidence of the administration's commitment to transforming the education sector.
According to him, the government has also prioritised agriculture through support for farmers with improved seedlings, fertilisers, mechanised farming initiatives and other interventions aimed at boosting food production and strengthening food security.
The lawmaker further commended the governor's efforts in the health sector, including the expansion of the Ebonyi State Health Insurance Scheme, rehabilitation and equipping of health facilities, recruitment of health workers and other initiatives to improve access to quality healthcare.
On human capital development, Ogah said the administration had sustained local and foreign scholarship schemes, youth and women empowerment programmes, entrepreneurship support and skills acquisition initiatives designed to improve livelihoods and create employment opportunities.
He also praised the government's support for security agencies and community-based security initiatives, saying the prevailing peace in many parts of the state had created an enabling environment for development.
Ogah maintained that the administration had improved the welfare of civil servants through prompt payment of salaries, regular promotions and recruitment into the state workforce, adding that prudent financial management had enabled the government to execute projects across the state.
The federal lawmaker challenged critics who insist that Governor Nwifuru is underperforming to inspect projects being executed by the administration.
“I am prepared to sponsor the air ticket of anyone who claims Governor Francis Nwifuru is not performing. Let us tour the projects across the state and assess what the government has achieved with the resources available to it," he said.
Ogah urged opposition politicians and other critics to present alternative policy proposals rather than engage in persistent criticism, stressing that democracy provides every qualified citizen the opportunity to seek elective office.
"They should bring forward their ideas and programmes for the people instead of condemning every effort of the government. The people of Ebonyi are capable of judging performance and deciding who deserves their mandate," he said.
He expressed confidence that the governor's ongoing projects, particularly in rural communities, would further demonstrate the administration's commitment to development before the end of its first term.
Ogah also commended Governor Nwifuru for remaining focused on governance despite criticisms, expressing optimism that the state's development agenda would continue to yield positive results.
