2023: COEWIP Pitches Tent With Ebonyi APC Guber Candidate, Nwifuru

A Non Governmental Organization,  Coalition of Ebonyi Women in Politics (COEWIP), has pledged unflinching support and loyalty to the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the state in view of next year's general elections.

The group led by its state president Mrs Rebecca onwe made this known during a courtesy call on the Chairman of the party, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha in his office.

Mrs Onwe noted that the present Governor, Engr  David Umahi has set a developmental template which can only be sustained in the interest of Ebonyi people if Chief Francis Nwifuru succeeds him in office.

Responding, the Ebonyi APC Chairman Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha appreciated the solidarity and promised to continue to advocate for more women inclusion in the political arithmetic in the state.

He also explained that the choice of the party's female deputy Governorship candidate simply demonstrates the fact that APC is gender sensitive and highly accommodating for genuine development.
