The Honourable Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly - Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has lost sleep since yesterday night, in the wake of the massacre of Izzi speaking people of Nwori Nduobasi in Ado LGA of Benue State, by Fulani Herdsmen.
Speaker Nwifuru since yesterday night, has placed several calls to the Deputy Governor of Benue State and Chairman of Ado LGA of Benue State, to no avail.
He has been on hand, providing logistics, medical supplies and food for medical personnel, security and vehicles for rescue and treatment of the wounded people.
Mr Speaker has been at AE-FETHA since morning till this moment attending to the people with the help of the Hospital Management and Izzi Medical Team, in the company of Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga, Executive Chairman of Ebonyi LGA.
While the Honourable Speaker condemns this evil in the strongest possible terms, he is calling on the Benue State Government to take responsibility and produce the perpetrators of this massacre.
